Hello Kusarites.

We are still alive and well. But we are too busy to update frequently right now. I am writing several assignments, and Martin has gotten himself a new computer that needs to be moved into.

BUT(T), we are making new tracks, we have 8 tracks finished, and 3 in the works. We have decided to abandon making albums for the time being. The fun of making Control was very inspiring, so for now we will focus on making ep's.

Transgressive digital grinders Skat Injector are back again, this time on one side of a split with the mighty Total Fucking Destruction, featuring drummer Rich Hoak from Brutal Truth. Released on the European label Hirntrust Grind, this 7" delivers two very different but equally vicious grind assaults. Total Fucking Destruction's side is made up of four tracks ("Human Is The Bastard", "Monster Earth Megawar", "Wounded Unit", "Youth Apocalypse Right Now") of their twitchy prog-tinged grindpunk, professionally recorded live in the studio and heavy as hell, the band careening through their jagged blastcore and anthemic hardcore weirdness with Hoak delivering his crazed apocalyptic ranting in that unique electroshock gibbon-scream of his, with the rest of the band backing him up with some goofy gang vocals. Killer stuff!
Skat Injector are back with two new songs of their vicious blackened chipmunk grind, the first "Anal Suicide" tossing squelchy electro beats and synth effects over weird circus melodies, blackened shrieks and super-high-pitched chittering screams of Zara Skumshot, and programmed blast beats, followed by the electro-black metal mess of "Sworn To Sodomy" which sounds like a fucked-up cross between Cradle Of Filth and Kusari Gama Kill, digital blasts and screeching Dani Filth-esque vokills scrambling over the warped Hammer Horror keyboards, pounding gabber beats, ultra-distorted and trebly guitars, and disgusting lyrical imagery. Noisecore Violations 2002-2008 is the complete collection of everything that this Finnish noisecore band released over the past decade, adding up to hundreds of ultra short noisecore blasts. The band sprouted from the infinite imagination of the terminally prolific Mikko Aspa (Deathspell Omega, Fleshpress, Clandestine Blaze, Grunt, Nicole 12, Creamface, Clinic Of Torture), and specialized in a hallucinatory, psychotic form of ultra-violent noisecore that I think sounds a lot like Seven Minutes of Nausea crossed with power electronics and a junk noise free-for-all. The mix of shock-assault grindblast and industrial racket is mashed into a murky stream of deranged consciousness that pounds your skull with one micro-explosion after another. The four second songs are collisions of harsh barked vocals, rapid-fire machinegun blast beats, blown out blower bass and shapeless guitar shrapnel that very rarely forms into anything resembling a riff, loads of screeching feedback, and heavily delayed screams. All of the effects that are used here give this a psychedelic feel, and the band also makes use of some excruciating slow sludge / noise dirges that includes a couple of very brief moments where Nihilist Commando almost resembles Brainbombs for a second, before launching back into the nuclear noisecore holocaust. Like much of Aspa's work, the lyrics and overall vibe for this band reek with a detached Sotos-style appreciation of depravity, and it's definitely not for wimps. There are hundreds of "songs" collected here, and the disc includes everything off of the band's demos from 2002 through 2006, compilation tracks and unreleased recordings, and a live performance from 2008. This one of the best of the newer true NC outfits, and is absolutely recommended for blastnoise deviants who can't get enough of the likes of Sore Throat, Seven Minutes Of Nausea, AxCx, Kusari Gama Kill, Nikudorei, Fear Of God, Final Exit and other dealers in nuklear migraine blast. The disc comes with a thick twenty-page page black and white booklet that includes all of the lyrics, artwork, interviews, liner notes. Yes, you heard the man right! Our Myspace page has been deleted today. We find the site has degenerated beyond repair. We were on Myspace for more than five years, and it's a sad but necessary decision.

Para los que pensábamos que el “Altered States of America” de Agoraphobic Nosebleed (justamente, J. Randall edita este trabajo en su sello Grindcore Karaoke) era el sumum de extremismo y demencia, el punto más álgido donde el Grindcore, el Noise y las más sádicas elucubraciones electrónicas se daban la mano para destruir la música tal y cómo la conocíamos, Kusari Gama Kill nos ofrece una nueva perspectiva, al tiempo que se dedica, sistemáticamente, a taladrarnos las neuronas con martillos hidráulicos. Esta es la criatura ideada por dos dinamarqueses que, munidos de diversos aparatos de destrucción masiva e inspirados en los aspectos más revulsivos de los géneros (anti)musicales más extremos, ríen histéricamente mientras diseñan diversas formas de tortura auditiva en ocultos laboratorios sónicos. This is a creature designed by two Danes who, armed with various devices of mass destruction and inspired by the most revolting of genres (anti) musical extremes, laughing hysterically while designing various forms of torture in hidden laboratories sonic hearing. With seventeen vomiting sound crammed into three minutes, the duo manages to generate sparks and short circuits in our synaptic connections, based on blast-beats cyber crust covered with grimy digital noise and adorned with brutal grunts and endless sonic infections make the work of people like Anal Cunt, Venetian Snares, and Merzbow seem polite by comparison. Of course, I have five years spreading his disease, and among its most important achievements, there is that terrible "Dead party animal noise" of 2007, which shipped with ninety-nine subjects able to test the resistance of the most experienced ears. "Control" shows no signs of weakening in its proposal, by contrast, seem motivated to take your cruel and feverish imagination land increasingly abrasive, schizophrenics, and narcotics. Let's put it clear, this is extreme stuff. But seriously end, this makes genres like Death Metal or Black (and even the Grindcore in its most archetypal) sound a little more than a joke. And at the same time, it is impossible not to notice that, under the constant aggression and murderous rage that face their compositions, there is a profound and perverse musical creativity in the service of the unpleasant sensations. Despite the funky and friendly futurama styled musically inclined alien in the above promotional poster and album art, Kusari Gama Kill don't offer anything funky or friendly, just pure sonic destruction with giant pulses of hissing electronica being violently discharged thrashing inside your ear to your brain in a rampant noise frenzy, the equivalent of detonating a series of consecutive nail bombs inside your head.

Speedcore, Grindcore and Noise all collide together at insane velocitys creating an undecipherable sonic boom in its violent wake, the end result being an inhuman rampage of scattering pieces of shrapnel sound shattered en masse, still violently vibrating and loaded with energy from the chaotic aftermath of which they were born.

I am proud to say I enjoy a joyous internet based friendship with one half of Kusari Gama Kill, of which I may confirm contrary to popular belief is 100% human, and one who is good at photography at that. However it is the other unknown half who I am convinced is some dark sinister digital beast that has amassed consciousness and decided its function was to unleash a form of aural destruction upon mankind as punishment for the large scale displacment in the industry and prestige of carrier pigeons, something I might state if he/she/it is reading I also am disappointed in.

17 tracks of industrialised noise proceeds to emulate a 13 minute session of audio torture, tapping deep into your frail nerves and subjecting them to a digital overload of artificial noise. If filthy industrialised noise is a form of punishment you like to subject yourself to then this one is certainly one to up the game.

Having called the wonderful Eustachian the Euramerican joint answer to Japan's blazing Cyber Noise Act Deathstorm, I have greatly neglected to acknowledge Deathstorm's even more electrifying Danish doppelgänger Kusari Gama Kill who flamboyantly dish out a terrifying blend of industrialised Grindcore warped by an ambivalent psychosis of egregious electronica and naiant noise, in a manner akin to entering the plot of hellraiser via the matrix.

Brace yourself for a 22 minute synthetic assault of epilepsy inducing crash course into the realms of noise and electronics. Heavy use of stop and start shell shock tactics emulate an aural crash course into a digital battle of noise as a continous stream of an insane quantity of beats hammer away at your cranial cortex. Almost paralysing in nature it will proceed across a splatter of 32 tracks to offer to kick your nerves into overdrive as it proceeds to shock your system at speeds and forces that were meant more for torture than for leisure. The only other comparison is detonating a dozen copies of pre Agorapocalypse era ANb through a black hole, recording the result and then playing it backwards via dial up tones.

Vocals are a sickening electronic bastardisation of a deep wrenching scream and coupled with the omnipresent white noise that relentless twitches, we get a filthy machination of heavy and scary of a thundering blitzkrieg of electronic cacophony.

As your local doctor I recommend some electroshock therapy in the form of Chaos Surge, collect it at your local Grindcore Karaoke pharmacist.

"Spanish label RONF is back with their first manufactured Cd release, a split between notorious noisecore pioneers Seven Minutes Of Nausea and OTT electronic blasters Kusari Gama Kill.

Once again, Seven Minutes Of Nausea crams more than a hundred of their insane fifteen-second bursts of micro-nuke grindnoise into a single long track, which they've titled "List Of Insignificance". It's just over eighteen minutes of brutality distilled into base elements of splattered drum machines, ultra-distorted bass and guitar noise, creepy background samples and vomitous gargling vokills. It's impossible to discern one 7MON track from another, but that's hardly the point of all of this. This is totally devoid of anything remotely recognizable as musicality. It's total warfare, an endless onslaught of microscopic anti-riffs swarming over bleak industrial drone and second-long bursts of spastic light speed hardcore. Samples of howling wolves arise in the distance, while the drummer atacks his kit in a flurry of amphetamine-fueled caveman pummel. Imagine Sore Throat remixed by Gerogerigegege. Or Napalm Death’s "You Suffer" covered by a malfunctioning garbage disposal unit.
Kusari Gama Kill are one of my favorite newer noisecore outfits. Their previous discs on RONF are all pretty killer, and they incorporate heavy use of digital effects into their short, thirty second eruptions of zombie obsessed grind-chaos. On their half of this split, the Danish maniacs deliver eighteen tracks of crazed electronic beats, fried digital noise, fucked-up hyperspeed gabber blasts, and hoarse, fearsome vokills that sound like a demon screaming from inside the guts of a Commodore 64 system, with titles like "Zombie Riot", "Urban Dead" "Ransacking The Mall" and "Headshots Galore". It's like grindcore being composed exclusively using sampled computer game sound effects, like Merzbow remixing early Earache speedcore, an extreme blasting vortex of hard drive speed violence. The exception is "Nausea Revisited", a ten minute track that appears to be the members of Kusari Gama Kill remixing 7MON material into a massive creeping dronescape of low end thrum, ominous drone and spacey effects, and time-stretched grindbursts that shifts between stuff that sounds like Bastard Noise mixed with droning grind guitars and stretches of death industrial-like heaviness. Very cool. Digi-violence freaks who dig stuff like Noism, Dataclast and Agoraphobic Nosebleed need to check these guys out.

Two live recordings make up this blistering cassette from the Floridian noisecore band Nuclear II, which is actually a solo project from Rick Smith, who is probably better known to most of you as the drummer for sludgepop titans Torche and grinders Shitstorm. As Nuclear II, Rick kicks up a furious storm of harsh, ultra-distorted improvised blastnoise using just a minimal drum kit and triggered noise, blasting shockwaves of brutal distortion through an amplifier as he whips up a tornado assault of blastbeats and rolls on his kit. It's a vicious noisecore attack that reminds me of Seven Minutes Of Nausea and their super-short blasts of percussive noise, but Nuclear II's "songs" are even more difficult to discern, and the two live sets that are documented on the Population Decimation cassette each feel like a non-stop ten-plus minute wall of blasting mayhem, an endless assault of furious freeform drumming that veers chaotically between hyper speed blastbeats and frantic free-jazz fills. The deafening blasts of bass-heavy noise and oscillating feedback that Rick emits over his percussive battery are strafed by shrieking harpy vokills, unleashing radioactive fire over the orgy of apocalyptic free-grind destruction. Sounds a whole lot like Masonna and Anal Cunt and Seven Minutes Of Nausea and the noisiest, most brutal free-jazz drumming imaginable, all smashed together in a skull-shredding cacophony. Sweet! The two live sets featured here are both from September 2009, one taken from a show at Claustrophobia Inc. in Gainesville, Florida, and the other from Radioactive Records in Fort Lauderdale. If yer a fan of stuff like Nikudorei, Deche-Charge, Anal Cunt, 7MON, Nihilist Commando, Kusari Gama Kill, New York Against The Belzebu, Anal Massaker, Arsedestroyer, Ptao and Sore Throat, you'll love this shit. We are playing with Robot Bathing, Heidi Mortenson and Prafix Aztech at Warehouse9 the 12th of September at 21:00 hours.

A bit about them other bands:

ROBOT BATHING mostly concentrates on post-pop, post-deconstuctivist non-gender specific themes where aspects of composition are questioned
within a framework of general accessability, and where the audience can dance at some sort of obvious level or think on another ... or even do both!

PRAFIX AZTECH, was born the 17th of january 1983 in the small countryside of Russia. Interest in the arts and music early emerge - first painting, then making music, with an interest in the more darker sound/visual in music, a more complex sound, and new way of making music, finding a spot on the map, starting in harsh noizeundergrund, and then IDM/briandance in the late 90’s, releasing on small underground labels in Russia, and outside of Russia. Prafix Aztech is currently working a hybrid between minimal and IDM/Glitch, and doing ambience, still in the more darker sound, but generally is very open for new experiments, northing is too crazy, or wild too capture, and create, like wild animals running around inside my head, just waiting for my lasso.

Well I’ll be damned, what we have here is something really twisted and I like it. Kusari Gama Kill is the offspring of two noisecore gits from the land of my own blackened soul, Denmark. When I first saw the cover I thought I was in for one hell of a brainstorm and with hindsight it would have been an almost correct statement. Fact is that certain poisonous animals use bright colours to warn of members of the higher food chain not the consume them. This could be true about Noisecore Extravaganza as well, only it is a sonic meal to delicious to resist. The music is quite hard to describe since it’s a crossbreed of intense noise, power electronics, madness, and harsh ambient structures with a hint of drums and guitars drowning in the shadow of the cacophony. Each track is between 10-50 seconds and they follow somewhat of a quasi-linear approach yet feels pretty unique in their own ways. The fact that someone have actually made a song titled Alcoholiday demands a praise in its own way. Under all the noise I can almost catch what sounds like black/thrash metal structures, either its that or it is just a sublime hint of all the styles that combined makes this album. My favourite song on this album has to be Crippled Melted Brain who actually manages to stick out quite a bit from its surroundings with a almost childish attitude in all the heavy destruction. Well its not that light, but still it stick out.. So who would I recommend this to? Well obviously you have to appreciate industrial electronical sounds, noise and a huge dose of madness to real get behind the cover of this album. But once again if you get into noise and power electronics you realise there is such things as good and bad noise, and this is definitely good noise. Of the 99 tracks available only a few felt wrong and even then it felt justified by the mere fact that this is a project based around two gits who must have worked bloody hard to make 99 tracks of pure mayhem that never really gets monotonous or repetitive. Hell even the fact that my bloody cd-player in the car refused to accept the CD proves that this is a heavy album not meant for everyone. If you however like me like some good noisecore to wake you up in the morning then this is your piece of pie. And it is a limited release so you might want to pick it up sooner rather then later. I’ll sure as hell keep my eye out for more madness from these gits, they have intrigued me and that is a rare thing nowadays..

The legendary one-off version of Kusari Gama Kill from the Norberg show, Joana "Eiko" Aderi and Janus.

I must say I'm disappointed of this review, usually VW has something to say about a release, here they just state facts (and not true ones even, we use no "found recordings" but make all noises ourselves).

Vital Weekly, you can do better than this...

REVERSE MOUTH - THE CONFUSION OF THE SOUND OF CONFUSION (CDR by Primecuts Recordings)KUSARI GAMA KILL - NOISECORE EXTRAVAGANZA (CDR by R.O.N.F. Two tracks with perhaps vocals but what seems in the main distorted guitar more on the second track - repetitive machine like industrial feedback and white noise. Organically flowing, too much of a narrative going on for me here. Kusari Gama Kill is 99 tracks of I suppose "noise core" - found recordings processed screaming and vocals. Even a robot on track 99.The BVM split was more industrial - aural landscapes in which noisy objects emerge. The Mixturizer track (4) being the more substantial wall of (fairly) harsh noise. For some reason I cant get enthusiastic over these - I suspect its more my own depressive state rather than the snippets of over enthusiasm in which these releases seem to float. We have decided to start working on a new album as soon as we have completed the splits we are currently working on. This means we won't do more splits right now. We will however still provide tracks for compilations.

The new album will have about 28-30 songs and will be more focused than the previous albums. We hope this will be released on R.O.N.F. Records, as they are the prime merchants of noise as far as we see it.

Noisecore Extravaganza review on Crucial Blast

"We just listed another disc from this Dutch duo a few months ago, but here we are again with a new full length CD of insane, ultra-brutal digital noise/grind from Kusari Gama Kill, one of my favorite extreme grind bands on R.O.N.F. That last disc that I reviewed for C-Blast was the Dead Animal Noise Party CDR on R.O.N.F., which was actually a reissue of a previously out of print disc from 2006. Noisecore Extravaganza is the band's latest, a 99 track napalm blast of computerized abstract grind that I'm betting will have noisecore fans blowing their lids over. At first, you might think that this is going to be along the lines of Anal Cunt worship with the sheer amount of tracks and bizarre song titles like "Decomposed Hippie Breath" and "Obese Criminal Mastermind". Instead, you get a totally synthetic grind assault using drum programming, electronic noise and synths, with no guitar in sight, each track averaging around 15-30 seconds and packed with supersonic blastbeats, robotic vocals, mangled feedback and hard drive splatter, processed death metal vocals stretched and mutated into all kinds of weird shapes and shot through endless vocoder systems, shrieking space-locust oscillations, chopped up drill n bass spasms, menacing pipe organ clusters, grinding industrial piston-pulses and pounding drum loops. This shit is completely out of control as brutal electronic noise and lightspeed machine blasts hurtle out of your speakers uncontrollably, like hearing early Napalm Death being subsumed into the Borg hive-mind and mashed together with Dataclast, Bastard Noise, Noism and Merzbow and spat back out in fifteen second chunks of skull-imploding power. Fuck! What makes this so crushing is that Kusari Gama Kill actually have a pretty massive recording that makes their industrial white-noise chaosgrind sound thick and devestating, in contrast to the messy, murky recordings that you usually hear with other bands that play this kind of stuff. Obviously, this isn't for everyone, probably only extreme grind and noise freaks with a high tolerance for blastbeats and harsh noise will be able to withstand it, especially since this album is around forty minutes long, but for any of you folks that groove on the most extreme grindnoise/blast-troniks imagineable, this disc rules. Like the last one, Noisecore Extravaganza is limited to 100 copies, and the disc is packaged in a jewel case with full color artwork that features utterly retarded-looking demon-mutants dancing around a nuclear blast site designed by someone using MS Paint on a meth binge."

We have just sent the tracks for the 4-way split with Hohenkontrolle, Grand Lungs and Seven Minutes of Nausea to R.O.N.F. Records. The songs we sent are:

The complete Zombies EP. 16 songs about zombies, originally intended for the split 7" with Sarkofachocrss88 that still hasn't happened.

Nausea Revisited a re-recording of the classic song Nausea from Noisecore Extravaganza. This is a 10 minute epic noisetrack, much in the vein of Kusari Gama Earth.

Is it Love? A brand new track.

We look forward to getting this out to you, and to get some feedback from y'all about this groovy stuff. We are very happy with these songs, and hope you will be too! It should be out in March! So stay tuned.

"Following their recent split CD-R with Jesus Of Nazareth that also came out on RONF, the Danish Egrind duo Kusari Gama Kill return with their own full length disc of insane digital grindcore/noise. Actually, it looks like this was originally released back in 2006 but has been re-released here with additional material, with 99 tracks in all clocking in at 48 minutes. Kusari Gama Kill are one of the cooler noisecore bands on the RONF label, playing a ferocious style of synthetic grind that uses blasts of raging noise along the lines of Merzbow, Masonna, or Incapacitants, deep, heavily processed death metal vocals mutated by tons of FX and pitch shifting, evil robot chanting and vocoder abuse, harsh electronic textures and bizarre samples, and over-the-top drum machine programming that drills through your skull at 800 bpm. The lack of guitars or bass sets this apart from alot of other digital-grinders and makes these short, twenty second spasms sound totally alien and inorganic; this is severely fucked extreme music that makes me think of old noisecore stuff like Sore Throat or Fear Of God being hurtled through the trippy spaceship noise chaos of K.K. Null's solo electronics and the chopped-up, spastic electronica of Venetian Snares. The tracks are also augmented by impossibly deep, subsonic rumblings, grim atmospheric ambience, segments of bizarre cyborg punk, blazing feedback that spikes through the torrents of hyperspeed drum blasts, and damaged, distorted quasi-jungle rhythms that keep things varied and throw in unexpected twists and turns throughout the discs massive run time. Definitely one of the weirdest discs that RONF has turned me on to, and highly recommended to fans of extreme, experimental digital grindcore and splatter-electronica. The disc comes in a clear plastic case with full color cover artwork and an eight page full color booklet that has a bunch of whacked-out cartoon artwork from the band. Limited to 50 hand-numbered copies."

It is with great pleasure I can tell you that Martin has finished the cover for Noisecore Extravaganza. I will send the mastercopy of the cd to R.O.N.F. Records later this week, and then we will, hopefully, see a release this side of Christmas.

I went to see Genghis Tron play yesterday, and gave Mookie a copy of Dead Animal Noise Party, I hope to get some feedback from him.
